Digital Concrete Sculpture Installation
Memories deteriorate by way of their fleshy vessels and hard drives outlive our fleeting existence. Our experiences are not partitioned by sense, they are complete experiences adjoining audio, visual, feeling.
OBJECT VIGNETTE is a practice in diary and documentation; 3D fragments of experiences and environments assembled into digital concrete sculpture with audio texture. Each piece is associated with a written story and given movement to associate space with memory, repairing it.

Kids say the darndest things...
They also say frighteningly mature and insightful things. As was (and is) my experience teaching kindergarten, each student is a flower blooming from different roots but with the same ability to surprise. Orchid Hill is a collage of a 5-year-old’s brain interpreted by an “adult.” Look, I just drew what they wrote.
A turbulent trip of psychedelic sufferings
The mission: create a music video in one week that lives up to the images in your mind, as well as to the band that you’ve fawned over for years. ‘Don’t Stop Making It Happen’ was the phrase uttered frame after frame after frame of animating.

Pickup the damn newspaper!
While working at Cal State Fullerton’s Daily Titan – the student newspaper – we struggled with increasing readership. In order to get students engaged with their paper, we put forth effort in revamping the leisure page, which included a comic section. Thus born was Solipsism – a collection of comics I created inquiring for answers to life’s common questions.
A watercolored scrapbook comes alive
Submitted to Lady Antebellum’s (now Lady A’s) video contest hosted by Genero. Not selected – but that’s OK – as this project lived up to my vision of a tangible watercolor world that could house the lyrics and reflect the song’s carefree sound.

Poppin' pills and pimples with Portishead
This was a class assignment turned passion project. Story-boarded, shot and edited in a few nights, ‘Strangers’ was the culmination of many visual ideas I had that could finally take form under one of my favorite songs.
My Neighbor Totoro meets League of Legends
This personal project was the result of clashing interests – Studio Ghibli movies, and one of the world’s biggest time sinks, League of Legends. Backgrounds and frames were hand painted and drawn in Photoshop, mimicking the real film but with characters from League’s lore.
Wrecking Ball Orianna
A silly animation and fleeting pursuit of what was to be a continued effort in capturing the League of Legends audience on Youtube. Could’ve gone worse, I guess?
Step one of building a website - make a fun test dummy first
As part of a multimedia project for an HTML class, alexbosserman.space was a nice place to combine many of my personal interests and themes into a simple website that mimicked the early internet. If you like slowly scrolling, hovering and discovering oddities, check it out. Just go easy on her – she’s a bit slow to load in some places (desktop recommended).
