Founded by DJ and Creative Director DOMO WELLS, Dead Dirt is a Los Angeles based streetwear brand. I’ve hopped on multiple projects to bring Domo’s visions to life in 3D.
Domo also serves as the Creative Director of Washington Spirit, D.C.’s premier Women’s soccer team, combining her personal brand with the seasonal activities of the team and their marketing efforts.
My work has spanned across three separate projects so far, typically to promote a capsule launch that coincides with events or larger campaign efforts.
Pieces from the brand are embroidered with intricate flower patterns and have become an integral part of the visuals I’ve contributed to. Each spot includes branded clothing and the key visual “flowerhead” characters.

4.19.24 SHOWRUN
Red Bull occasionally hosts “showruns” where F1 racing meets the public (free of charge) for a bit of fun trackside, showcasing performers and brands to share their world.
Dead Dirt was invited to pop-up with some sounds and products at the event – the result is promo I made that combines Dead Dirt imagery with formula 1 racing.
I decked out the car in stickers and flowers, wrapped the driver’s helmet, and lined the track with a vivid spring meadow to rip through. I wanted the energy to be intense, capturing the engine’s roar and capacity for speed, ideally exciting people enough to get out of the house on the weekend.
Renaissance
Women
In anticipation of the fall season, Washington Spirit wanted to pay homage to trailblazing women in sports. Simultaneously looking to the past and pushing towards the future, Renaissance Women came to life in a scenic photoshoot at a historic site whose lush gardens reflected the aesthetic of Dead Dirt.
I created a mirrored reality of the photoshoot site in 3D, uniting the previous capsule launch with my execution in the virtual world. Hero shots were studied closely and recreated with attention detail, blending shots between the photoshoot and the alternate reality.
Three of the custom looks were recreated in 3D both for continuity purposes and to give the asset legs, used in various ways across social media channels to breath new life and perspective into an otherwise traditional concept.

X
Premiering as Washington Spirit’s new Creative Director, Domo launched the first merch collaboration between the two brands in style by sprouting right out of the earth and into the spotlight.
I recreated the home stadium in DC lined with fans and banners cheering on the appearance of a new star. This spot also includes three unique outfits that were available for purchase as merch on site at games in the Spring season.
The season’s new kit also coincided with the capsule and was revealed as part of the spot, combining new merch with the star power of the players and sponsors.
