pop-up promo
Korean fashion brand “Mod9” collaborated with the official ALIEN franchise to recreate the Ripley spacesuit (now in denim) from the character of the same name in the iconic 1979 horror film. The product was launched online and alongside other items at a pop-up store in The Hyundai, Seoul.
My work encompassed the creation of two social media spots containing the NOSTROMOS space vessel, facehugger organism, and a 3D replica of the Mod9 x ALIEN denim two-piece set.
The pop-up promo involved constructing the pop-up environment based on sketchup images provided by the client.
There are many easter eggs hiding about the scene – a xenomorph I sculpted in the hallway, the clothing pattern on the CRT, cat patch below, xenomorph pendent swinging above, and pant detail on reverse.
As a long time ALIEN fan, this was a dream project to work on!

about
Alexander Bosserman is a multidisciplinary artist whose work ecompasses many techniques and styles. After studying advertising, communications, and philosophy in Los Angeles, Alex now lives in Seoul as a freelance artist.
Presenting a cinematic style with extra attention to sound design, client’s stories and identities are shown at their best, uniquity exemplified. With works spanning from music videos to product advertisements, regardless of subject, the goal is the same; to pique your interest before the modern attention span whisks you away. In animation, time accelerates in hyper-real motion, in design, elements rest in harmony, and in video, the story fashions itself in destined arrangement.
Those interested in pushing the limits of their brand will find strategy, unique ideas, and beautiful execution at the foundation of their success with Alex.
